About D.T. Design Inc. DT Design Inc. is located in Holland Michigan and was founded in 1998 by Dave TerHaar SR. and Dave TerHaar JR. We started the company based on the need for new innovative products in the truck cap and tonneau industry. After receiving our first patent on power locks for truck caps and tonneau covers we offered our new product to the OEMs in that industry. It quickly became a hit and has now led to several other patents and many other products being used in several different industries.

About Holland Michigan Holland is located in west michigan on the shores of lake Michigan. Holland was founded by Dutch Americans in 1847. Holland Michigan is best known for its Tulip Time Festival, nationally recognized downtown, and rich Dutch history. Holland's downtown is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and has numerous unique shops and businesses. Holland State Park is one of the most visited parks in the state and is populated with beach and boat lovers alike. Across the channel is the Holland Harbor Lighthouse (also known as "Big Red") and is one of the most photographed lighthouses in Michigan. Also, the De Zwaan is an original Dutch windmill located on Windmill Island and is over 250 years old. Every May Holland Michigan hosts the annual Tulip Time Festival. The festival began in 1930 when 250,000 tulips were planted for the event. Currently six million tulips are used throughout the city.
